Fern Ridge Eco-Landscapes ("Fern Ridge," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us through our contact form or quote request form.

We collect only the information you provide when you submit one of our forms.

Contact form:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• The message you write to us

Quote request form:

• Your name, email address, and phone number (optional)
• The services you're interested in
• Property address, property type, and approximate yard size
• Project timeline and budget range
• Your preferred contact method
• Any project details you describe

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies on this site. To protect our forms from spam and abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) at the moment you submit a form.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit only to:

• Respond to your message or inquiry
• Prepare and discuss a quote or estimate
• Schedule a property walk-through or consultation
• Contact you about the services you asked about

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it to anyone.

How your information is handled and shared

When you submit a form, your information is delivered to us and stored so we can follow up. We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to make this work:

• Resend — delivers the email notification of your submission to our team.
• Google — your submission is recorded in a private Google Sheet within our own Google account so we can keep track of inquiries.
• Cloudflare — provides the Turnstile verification that helps us block spam and automated submissions.

These providers only process your information to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, for the duration of our working relationship and a reasonable period afterward for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Your rights

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial law, you may:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete it
• Withdraw your consent for us to use it

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you submit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and limit access to it.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
